Price behaviour improves while the evidence base stays cautious
The cross-asset balance is -0.3 in the band Balanced: 1 class carries a positive consolidated reading, 5 are neutral and 5 are cautious, with none unavailable. Energy is the single opportunity of substance, where price behaviour and evidence agree at 1.5 on a physical supply premium; the next most supportive readings, US Equities and Japan Equities at 0.1 each, are balanced rather than constructive. The principal risks sit in property, fixed income, China and Hong Kong and metals, where weak standing trends meet evidence that is either adverse or too thin to inform, and Real Estate at -1.1 is the weakest reading in the universe. The sharpest conflicts are US Equities, Japan Equities and Developed Pacific Equities, the 3 classes whose two branches point in opposite directions, while the widest numerical gaps belong to Crypto at 1.6 and Metals at 1.5, both flagged as high divergence; 4 classes agree. Confidence follows that pattern, highest where the branches agree at 91 for property and 86 for fixed income, and lowest at 61 for digital assets.

Themes moving more than one market
The AI build-out reprices on financing cost, not demand
A seventh consecutive session of decline in the semiconductor complex reached ten of the eleven classes here and was adverse in nine of them, and the mechanism was the cost of financing the build-out rather than the demand for its output. The same event is the only one of the universal forces that arrives in Fixed Income as a tailwind, because the money leaving equities went into government bonds. Where semiconductor weight was absent the effect was barely visible; where it dominated it overwhelmed everything else, which is why this reads as dispersion rather than as a uniform withdrawal.
A contested chokepoint divides producers from importers
Attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz lifted both crude benchmarks and ran through ten classes, making it one of the three widest-reaching events in the universe. It is supportive only where the premium is earned — Energy directly, Metals through the haven allocation, and the Australian resource income inside Developed Pacific Equities — and adverse everywhere the barrel is bought, which covers the whole of the rest of the equity complex plus bonds and property. That split is the cleanest illustration available of why one price shock produces opposite signs across a portfolio rather than a single direction.
One tightening cycle, ten classes, no offsetting side
A policy rate already raised, with most participants projecting at least one further increase this year, is the only widely transmitted event in the universe that is adverse in every class it touches, and it touches ten. The channel differs in each — the discount rate for equities, real rates for metals, the term premium for bonds, a currency peg for Hong Kong, imported policy for the dollar-linked Pacific — but the sign never changes. It also carries the longest horizon of any force here, which is why it anchors the cautious side of most classes rather than the single-day view, where the market was busy pricing part of it out.
A sharp fall in long yields lifted everything it reached
Western government bond prices rebounded hard and the long end of the US curve retreated at its fastest pace in two years, making this the one widely transmitted event in the universe that is supportive in every class it reaches. It did the work in the day's strongest readings: the metals complex, property, fixed income itself, the emerging markets without semiconductor weight, and the rate-sensitive sectors that led US Equities. Its weakness is its origin, because the move came from equity stress rather than from any change in the inflation outlook, which makes it the least durable form of support on offer.
A record goods-price impulse with exactly one beneficiary
Final demand producer prices rose far more than consensus on the month, carrying the largest goods-price increase since the series began, and the impulse reached eight classes. It is a tailwind in exactly one of them, Energy, because the energy component that drove the headline is revenue received by producers rather than a cost paid. Everywhere else it raises the expected policy path, compresses margins, or both, which is why it supplies the single heaviest adverse slot in Fixed Income, Metals, Crypto and US Equities.
A record foundry quarter against the de-rating around it
The dominant foundry beat on revenue and margin, guided capital expenditure significantly higher for three more years and described demand as still running above supply, which is the hardest evidence available against the demand thesis behind the week's rout. It is the leading supportive slot in US Equities, Japan Equities, Emerging Markets Equities and Europe Equities, and it reaches Metals through the fab build-out that consumes industrial metal. It is adverse in only one place, China and Hong Kong, where advanced-node leadership widens the gap facing domestic chipmakers.
Single-day session detail
Across the 11 classes the single-day reading is 0.2 and Mixed, with 6 classes bullish, 3 mixed and 2 bearish. Breadth was the clearer signal: 45 of 64 holdings advanced against 18 that declined, for net breadth of 42.19 percent. The opportunity reading is 0.2 and Balanced, led by Developed Pacific Equities, Europe Equities and Fixed Income, while risk is 1.8 and Elevated, concentrated in Crypto, Energy, Emerging Markets Equities and Metals. The largest single-day conflicts with the medium-term view are Real Estate, Fixed Income and Europe Equities, where uniformly positive sessions sit inside classes whose weight is still classified in downtrends. 9 classes have a complete single-day read and 2 are partial, with none unavailable; Crypto is one of the partial ones, because it has no completed session and its single-day reading rests on fresh evidence alone rather than on observed price.
